The 2010 Georgia-Carolina State Fair will be held beginning Friday, October 15, 2010 through Sunday, October 24, 2010.
Inside space at the fairgrounds is $465.00 for a 10’ X 10’ booth - $665.00 for a 20’ X 20’ booth and $865.00 for a 10’ X 30’ booth (price includes liability insurance). A deposit of $265.00 is required from all vendors not later than September 1, 2010 and the balance due not later than September 30, 2010. If deposit is not received space location can not be guaranteed. Set up will not be allowed if full payment is not received by October 8, 2010.
NOTE: IF VENDOR HAS LIABILITY INSURANCE AND FURNISHES A COPY OF THE POLICY AT THE TIME OF APPLICATION a deduction of $65.00 can be made from the rental. This being the case, a deposit of $200.00 is required not later than September 1, 2010 and the balance due not later than September 30, 2010. No deposit refunded for cancellations made after October 8, 2010.
The Commercial Building will open one (1) hour before the Fair opens each day and will remain open until approximately midnight. NOTE: IF YOU CANNOT MAN YOUR BOOTH DURING ALL HOURS OF THE FAIR, DO NOT APPLY FOR SPACE. The Fair opens weekdays 5:00 P.M. and Saturdays and Sundays at noon. The Commercial Building will be locked and secured each night after the gates close.
Set up days will be Wednesday, October 13, 2010 and Thursday, October 14, 2010, Noon – 4:00 PM and Friday, October 15, 2010, 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM. Each exhibit must not extend higher than eight (8) feet at the back. Additional decorating needs such as carpet, tables, and/or chairs, etc. must be furnished by the Vendor.
The Vendor is responsible for all sales tax, fees and permits necessary to conduct business in Augusta, Georgia.
All Vendors must be clear of the building by 5:00 P.M., Monday, October 25, 2010.
OPTIONAL: The Sunshine Special days for handicapped persons, war veterans, and their caretakers will be Wednesday, October 20, 2010, and Thursday October 21, 2010. The Fair opens at 1:00 P.M. each Sunshine day; and the Commercial Building will open at 12 noon. It is not mandatory that Vendors participate.
